I purchased this bag in March and use it every day. After 6 months of use, the straps are completely frayed and look terrible. The construction is great and nothing else is wrong with it other than the straps falling apart. I looked into the limited lifetime warranty and they will only replace it if you first send them the bag to examine it and determine if it's a manufacturers defect or if you are the cause of the damages, plus you need to have registered the bag at the time of purchase, have the original receipt, and have registered something online as well. I guess I should have paid the extra $17 for the 2 year warranty through Office Depot...
